Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 20 July 2026
These Terms & Conditions ('Terms') govern your access to and use of the Teaching Doctors website, courses, and related services (collectively, the 'Services'). By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About Our Services
Teaching Doctors is an independent educational technology platform supporting overseas-trained dentists preparing for the Australian Dental Council (ADC) exam. Teaching Doctors is not the Australian Dental Council and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the ADC. All references to the ADC examination throughout our Services are for informational and preparatory purposes only.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep that information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Course Access and License
When you enroll in a course, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access that course's content for your personal study only. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or publicly share our lessons, notes, mock exams, or other materials without our prior written consent.
4. Payments, Pricing, and Refunds
- Course fees are available as a one-off payment or as scheduled monthly instalments, as shown at checkout.
- All prices are listed in the currency displayed at checkout and are subject to change for new enrollments.
- Access to paid content begins once payment is confirmed or, for instalment plans, once the first payment is received.
- Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsatisfied with your enrollment, contact our support team via WhatsApp or our contact form so we can understand your situation and find the best resolution.
5. No Guarantee of Exam Results
While we provide structured lessons, expert-led guidance, mock exams, and study resources to help you prepare with confidence, we do not guarantee that you will pass the ADC written or clinical examinations. Your results ultimately depend on your individual effort, clinical competency, and performance on exam day.
6. Acceptable Use
When using our Services, you agree not to:
- Share your account credentials or course access with anyone else.
- Copy, record, or redistribute course content outside of the platform.
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in a way that disrupts or interferes with other students.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account.
7. Intellectual Property
All course content, including lessons, videos, notes, mock exams, and platform design, is owned by Teaching Doctors or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of that content to you.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
Our Services may reference or link to third-party websites, payment processors, or communication tools such as WhatsApp. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party service, and your use of those services is subject to their own terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teaching Doctors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Services, including any outcome related to your ADC examination results.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you breach these Terms, including sharing your account or misusing course content. You may stop using our Services at any time, though this does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our Services after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the effective date above whenever changes are made.
13. Contact Us
If you have any questions about these Terms, contact us at support@teachingdoctors.com.au or via WhatsApp through our Contact page. We aim to respond within 24–48 hours.
